Weddings are our specialty at The Castle in Dahlonega, Georgia!  Although we also do Rehearsal Dinners and Special Events, we are primarliy focused on hosting weddings that are fun, hassle-free, and memorable.

Our Old World Gazebo is the centerpiece of one of the largest outdoor wedding sites in the USA!  This beautiful ceremony Gazebo was hand crafted in Italy and imported to North Georgia. Nestled in the valley of a natural amphitheater this venue offers you the opportunity to host an outdoor wedding with an UNLIMITED number of guests!

After the Ceremony things move up to The Castle! 

The King's Ballroom is fully equipped with professional quality light, sound, and audio visual gear.  Disc Jockeys,  Videographers and Photographers will appreciate our control room loft where they are assured of capturing your special moments without interfering with the ceremony or reception:

Let's Dance!The Castle is elegant without being pretentious.  We are known as being a "FUN" venue to have your wedding.

With Cyndi and her staff taking care of all the details Brides always have a great time at The Castle!


The Blue Lagoon outdoor deck can seat around 100 guests in an elegant, but comfortable setting.  Many of our wedding parties use this area as the site for their outdoor reception.  We have also used this a more intimate ceremony site for smaller weddings:

The Fountain at The Blue Lagoon is a popular spot for guest to relax.


The Stage at the head of The King's Ballroom is a popular spot for Toasts, The Cake Cutting Ceremony and other fun activities!

The Castle has parking for over 100 vehicles right out front.Parking is never a problem at The Castle!


We also offer a three room Brides Suite so that the Bride and Bridesmaids can prepare for the special day in total comfort and privacy.

We also offer the Groom's Room where the guys can get ready for the big event:

The Knights Overlook is a large outdoor deck where many wedding parties set up a bar and allow guest to get away from all the activity around the rest of The Castle.   It also works well as a site for company parties cocktail parties and family dinners:

The grounds around The Castle contain many delightful spots for photos of the Bride, Groom and their guests.

The culinary staff at Cavender Castle always delivers delicious fare with an artistic flare.


All around The Castle you will find a wide variety of plants and flowers in bloom.
