Cavender Castle is the only banquet hall in Lumpkin County that caters exclusively to weddings, parties, banquets and special events. That's our specialty! Because we are not open to the public for other daily business every group we book has exclusive use of our nine acre estate. If you book an event at The Castle you can be assured of exceptional service and attention to detail for your event.
Our main banquet hall, The King's Ballroom, can comfortably seat seat 75 people for dinner, or 135 for an indoor cocktail party. During warm weather we utilize three outdoor decks that allow you to have parties exceeding 300.
We prepare all food on site. (See our Menus page for details.) We do not carry a pouring license which allows you to B.Y.O.B.
We also provide all house audio visual and effects lighting to our guests free of charge. This means that if you are planning on showing a Powerpoint Presentation, or a special video, all you have to do is bring your laptop. Please ask Cyndi for details.
