Gazebo Weddings at Cavender Castle in Georgia:

The Old World Gazebo draws brides from all over the world to have their garden wedding at Cavender Castle.  Situated at the foot of a serene valley in the North Georgia Mountains the Gazebo creates a stunning backdrop for your wedding photos.  Imported from Italy, the Old World Gazebo will remain in the hearts and minds of your wedding guests for years to come!

Gazebo weddings are indeed popular.  Although we offer four ceremony sites at Cavender Castle, the Old Word Gazebo is home for most our our weddings.  The Gazebo sits at the bottom of a natural amphitheater creating a spectacular garden wedding setting.  We provide up to 175 white wedding chairs for your wedding.  However, you can have a gazebo wedding with an unlimited number of guests... there's  plenty of room!

We also provide a house sound system and technician for every gazebo wedding.  At Cavender Castle we make sure everyone can hear the vows!  One added benefit is that our sound technician can provide microphones for any singers and musicians you intend to have performing during your gazebo wedding

Here is a photo of The Old World Gazebo ceremony site...

The Old World Gazebo is a natural focal point of this natural amphitheater nestled in the North Georgia Mountains.  What a location for your Dahlonega Wedding!

Your Wedding Coordinator, Cyndi Durham works closely with each bride to choreograph every phase of her wedding.  The typical Wedding Ceremony follows the flow of the following photos.

The Groom enters with a walk over Matrimony Bridge and into the Gazebo to await the Bride's grand entrance:

All eyes will be on the bride as she makes a grand entrance from the crest of the ceremony site all the way down the aisle to the Gazebo:

Some brides make an even more spectacular entrance by being delivered in a horse drawn carriage, or antique car:
