Cavender Castle was the home of the first winery in Lumpkin County. Grape vines once flourished throughout the estate. The Castle was originally built as a Winery, Country Inn, and Gift Shop. Although we no longer produce wine, we have great love and respect for the flourishing wine busines that has emerged in North Georgia.
